To facilitate this each learner has a support worker and an Individual Learning Plan.

In close consultation with their support worker the learner helps to map out the stages of their continued learning support.

Alongside the learning strand the Individual Learning Plan also addresses life issues which may impact on the learner’s ability to learn. This includes advocacy and mentor support for issues like debts, housing issues, family issues, access to child care and anything else which may be standing in the way of their learning development.

The plan is regularly reviewed throughout the learners association with learning Societies to make sure they are getting the best from our services and they are accessing all the services available to help them learn and develop.
